Thumbs up New Hampshire International Speedway

In this area, the speedway is most known for NASCAR and Motorcycle Race weekend, but something more fun is brewing for the end of April.

On April 30, beginning at 9:00 AM, The NHIS Criterium will begin. Classes from Mens/Women Cat 5/4 up through the PROs.

The next day, May 1, is the Turtle Pond Circuit Race, with the first group going off at 9:00 AM.

An aside: The New Hampshire Cycling Club holds a series on Thursday nights at the NHIS that runs from April 8 through September 23. I've heard it's a great training/learning opportunity. If interested, registration is at:

I'm still going up... anybody else?

The races start at 9:00 AM with the Mens CAT 5's. First Womens race is listed to start at 10:50 CAT 3/4, higher CATs later.

I have about 1.5 hr drive (maybe less), so I'm leaving home abt 7:30 AM.

The weather report is relatively vague, says "possible" showers in area, but the speedway seems to be in its own weather plane... it can be raining everywhere and the space over the speedway is clear and sunny.
    no regrets!
