based on this older thread:

since my last posted calculation was over 600 bike work commuting miles amongst us TE'ers.
Now it's now 745.5 miles. It would nice to aim for 1,000 daily cycling work commuting miles.

Well, we close on that house we were considering next Thursday, so my commute is about to jump up considerably! Ultimately, my goal is to get to 4 commutes per week at 19 miles each way (~ 150 miles per week) - but I'll have to start smaller and work my way up.
I'm not sure if I'll drive part way and bike part way or just start with less commutes per week until I get conditioned...but once I have a daily number decided, I'll share it here to contribute to the 1,000.
My new non-farm blog: Finding Freedom
I commute 15 miles each way. 30 miles per day/four days a week.
I have a bit over 1,000 miles for the year.
450 miles (give or take) are from commuting (15 miles round trip).
I have 53 rides, 30 of which are commutes.
So...60% of my rides gives me 40% of my miles.
More or less.
Oooooohhhh....what a metric junkie BikeJournal has made me!!

Toss my commuting miles on the pile too. Total miles per day 23 -25, five days per week. That will give you 115 to 125 miles per week. bikerHen
