I did that ride in about '97. I know, been a while. It's a nice ride, I will think about it.

Definite possibility. Sounds like a heck of a lot more climbing than I've ever done, but that would be a great one to train for. I've heard it's kind of a zoo... anyone else?

Looks interesting, and it's a Bay Area ride I've never done. Is there a pledge minimum?

Friends don't let friends ride the Tour de Peninsula

no pledges and as for the zoo-like atmosphere I think you are talking about the Chronicle Tour de Peninsula.

Friends don't let friends ride that one 8-(

TdP is horrid, crowded, over advertised, over booked, traffic cones lined the route-c'mon can't you just say "stay to the right"?, you pay extra for food at the end and it attracts a beginner ridership not that there is anything wrong with that, folks have to start somewhere but I've never seen so many people steer left when a rider says "on your left"

So, has anyone made a decision about this one? I'm still waffling.

Waffling along with you! I've got a dr. appt today to have my arm looked at. Can't lift anything without bunches of pain . I'm not sure how well I can ride right now

It sounds really nice, I love the Los Altos area. If I ever win lotto I'll live there .

"Expert" opinions (not a doctor, but they've watched Marcus Welby MD) seem to think I have tennis elbow -- not fair since I don't play tennis......

Oh Snap... so sorry! That's no fun. But if it's any consolation, my mom got tennis elbow many, many years ago from.... playing Atari. Space Invaders, to be exact.
