Way false! Beets are just gross. But hey, if you like 'em that's great.

TPBM has done more than one self supported bike tour. Remember to give some details in your answer.

True - the second year we had been riding, we left from home, rode out Hwy 30 to Astoria, down the Oregon Coast to Lincoln City then inland on Hwy 18, cut over to Champoeg Park, through Canby and home. We didn't know what we were doing, him on a mountain bike and me on a hybrid. He pulled a BOB trailer loaded to the gills: canvas 7x7 cabin tent with long poles, 2 prs of blue jeans each, I had sneakers and sandals, each had 2 books, way too many clothes. We didn't weigh our bags, but I think I'm glad we didn't. We met people from England, Germany, Wales and other states, had a great week. Second tour was just a weekend, but we packed smarter this time and pedaling was so much easier :-) But we're going to do the same kind of week long trip (with a group of friends) in September but we have much better gear and knowledge now. Should be fun.

And actually, I am supposed to be packing for a weekend bike tour this weekend. I leave in 3 hours and I'm not ready yet :-0

The person below me owns more than 4 bikes :-)
