Tennis

So, some of you may know that I gave up racing bikes a few years ago and now I'm playing tennis and loving it. Last year, I started up a group of ladies to play in team tennis and we will play again this year.

I have to brag a little. I went to my first real tournament this weekend and won the women's singles competition in the B category! It was also a charity event for Breast Cancer Awareness so it was a double win!

Now, onto my next challenge!

I played tennis in high school. I recently tried to teach my 14 yo to play, but he couldn't hold the racket in any way other than a baseball bat, and he gave up. I hope he tries again this summer.

Thanks Tucker - Boys will be Boys - He would probably play if he had a friend that plays too. Then the competitive angle would come out and he would play. Do you live in a big enough city where there are youth tennis groups?
