    Cleaning saddle

Does anyone clean their saddle in any way? I've been riding almost every day on mine for a year and, well, the bloom is off the rose, so to speak. It's not leather and it's on a plastic base - can I just throw it in the washer and dryer?

Yikes, I hope you were kidding about the w/d.

If it's vinyl, just wipe it off with water and a soft cloth.

If it's lycra...well it's probably time for a new saddle. There is just no good way to revive those puppies!

Check the favorite saddle section if you decide to go new...lots'o good advice there.

Thanks, pedalfaster. I was just kidding - you won't see the headlines "Local women killed in tragic dryer/saddle accident"! I'll go visit the saddle section!
