I don't think anyone has posted this yet. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/s...al/7208875.stm

I hope he can get going again and the rest of his trip goes well.

Yep. Is there any way to know his route? Maybe an escort?

That's a great idea Trek. We need to get this guy a TE escort. There's enough of us across the country and world for that matter to help the guy out. Where is he now?

From what I understand Trek has some mean martial arts action, she'd be a great body guard.

Yeah, right. You all ride ahead with him and if anyone gives him any trouble at all y'all HOLD THEM DOWN .... I'll be bringing up the rear a few hours behind and boy will they be sorry when I get there, someday .... very tired .... eventually.

Of course I'll need to eat first before I do anything, a recovery beverage and maybe a massage, but then boy when I'm rested will they be sorry they messed with him.

Of course till I'm rested I'll just stand there looking tough and very intimidating :::ignore the hysterical laughter in the background :::::

    That'll work

Ok, so he's cycled from Baton Rouge to Slidell. Is he going East West?

From the map of his progress it looks like west-east.
