Has anyone had a problem with these, gone through with the galbladder removal surgery and gotten back on the bike? I'm waiting for the final diagnosis, and I'm trying to reassure myself that it's not something to be too afraid of...

    gallstones

I have undergone the surgery and removal of my galllbladder a year and a half ago. I am young, 23, but I thought the surgery was not that bad. It took only a couple of hours (two I believe). The immediate aftermath was painful, but once the meds kick in, its la la land for two or three days. I was back to work in five days, and rode the full 12 mile loop the next weekend. Fully recovered in a month.....like blasting out a loop in one hour recovered. (That's really fast for our loop.) Only have three little scars from it. Let me recommend Mylanta Gas X tablets. That was by FAR the most uncomfortable part for me. Don't be afraid to let'em rip. Family or no family.....better out than in. Pets are great company too

Chin up girlfriend......you'll be back to kicking some trail in no time. Anymore questions, either post or private me. I will be glad to answer them.
