    Real name: Lora
Where do you live? Washington Wine Country

Explanation of your handle: I'm IBStitchin at most places because I have an embroidery machine (that I don't use enough)

Explanation of your avatar: gotta pic one

    Age (general or specific) 33

Occupation: SAHM but planning to reopen my pet sitting business

    Favorite bike: no clue!

What's in your stable? 2 quarter horses

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? haven't been on a road bike yet, I'm on a Murray MB with performance tires

Another picture of yourself or your ride? Umm, yeah, I'll get one at some point

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: My biggest bike lie so far was convincing myself my feet didn't hurt. Couldn't walk for a couple days after.

Most memorable moment on my bike: A few weeks ago two large fawns jumped in front of me and ran down the road a bit before heading back into the brush, very cool!

Most fun ever had on a bike? Last Sunday a neighbor and I took off riding and visited 3 wineries on the loop. I love biking in wine country, yum!

Where do you live? Dallas, TX

Explanation of your handle: Ani Difranco fan

Explanation of your avatar: Cute yet demented

    Age: 38

    Occupation: Environmental Scientist

Favorite bike: The bike I am riding!

What's in your stable? I currently ride my Specialized S-Works Roubaix. I also have a Co-Motion Nor'Wester for touring. For mountain biking I have an old Trek Fuel 90.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? I am not sure...my bike computer is temperamental, and I have given up on it. But I do remember one year going downhill at the Tour de Goatneck at 40 mph.

Usual rides: Local rallies. During the summertime, the DFW area has one about every weekend.

Biggest Accomplishment on a Bike: I am pretty wimpy...I usually only do 1 century a year (Hotter 'n Hell). I mostly just ride 100Ks. This year I did the MS 150...so I guess that is my biggest accomplishment so far.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I tell them to myself all the time when I am on bike rides. When I start to feel miserable...I sing the James Brown song "I Feel Good" to myself!

Most memorable moment on my bike: Bonking the first summer I started road riding. I did my first 100K on my mountain bike in 100 degree weather. It was not pretty...

Most fun ever had on a bike? Coming in long before my ex-fiance at last year's Hotter 'n Hell. I am generally not competitive with others...only with myself. But he ragged on me for years about being slow and wimpy. Then last year when the heat index reached 111...he ended up cramped up underneath a MASH tent, and I finished without needing any medical attention. He is the hare, I am the tortoise. Enough said.

    Hi Cheryl

We live in South Auckland so within 10 minutes are out of the urban sprawl and out towards Clevedon, fab bike riding (apart from the hills in Hunua !) Auckland drivers have to be the worse in the world, every ride there are always near misses Haven't mountain bike at Woodhills, I hear it fab but gets really crowded at the weekends...... we tend to head out to rotorua for the weekend when we want to go off road ..... There's now a new track at Pukekohe next time you are over

Yep, did the Special K tri series, that how I got into cycling, still do the tri series but also do the longer distances. Aiming for the Lake Taupo Classic this year and the Northland Classic in March next year..... Very much bitten by the cycling bug, even given up riding horses now !

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Most common lie: "Yes, Mom, I am fine." -- No matter how sick, hurt, or sad I am.

Most memorable moment on my bike: Well, it's not a happy memory but not one that I will ever forget. On June 1, 2007, I was biking north, and I saw a brown sedan coming south on the same road. It then took a left turn into me and my bike. I was Superwoman as I flew into her windshield and hit the pavement. Thankfully, nothing is broken but the 2007 Trek Pilot 5.0 that I had bought in April. My joints are all suffering from deep bruising, but that will eventually subside.

Most fun ever had on a bike? I look for the fun in every ride - beautiful views, amazing sunsets/sunrises, funny-looking clouds.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I can't think of one right now.

Most memorable moment on my bike: 150 mile endurance ride with 10000 feet of climbing, I won!

Most fun ever had on a bike? too numerous to count, but a big one was when I did the Georgia cyclocross series one year with my close friend (before I moved to Florida). We would drive to the races together, laugh like crazy, race really hard, then put really good beer in our waterbottles and watch the pro guys race and walk the course and pretend we were in Belgium, a little hard when it's 75 degrees and your racing cyclocross in the Southeast!

Explanation of your handle: It's kind-of random -- long ago Yahoo gave me a cat related password, which I took as my screen name, but it sounds a little, um, porn-star-ish and I didn't want to use it anymore. So the next cat-related thing that popped into my head was 'tabby' . . .
Explanation of your avatar: me making faces

    Age (general or specific) 34

Occupation: Mom to a homeschooling 9 yr old, and toddler b/g twins

Favorite bike: I don't think I know enough to have a 'favorite', but I must admit that the Electra Amsterdams are screaming for a test ride

What's in your stable? Schwinn ATB from a big box store via CraigsList

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? 13.5 mph, down hill on the trail near my house, last week. (I found it pretty funny to be going so slow, yet feel SO fast & frankly, quite scared!)

Another picture of yourself or your ride? I hate having my picture taken, but I'll work on it.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: When we were dating, I routinely convinced DH that he'd promised to buy me lunch . . .

Most memorable moment on my bike: Haven't had a REALLY memorable moment yet, so I have to go back 20-some years to my childhood bike adventures: riding my 10-speed through the woods, and pedalling fast to make it through this giant dip (like a modern day skate ramp) in the path. Also, I broke my leg on my bike at age 9. I forgot that until just now, actually.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Everytime I decide, "Oh, what the heck, how about another mile or so?"
