    Moving to Edmonton

well, I'm moving to edmonton at the end of this month, and will be staying there till December. I don't have the room to bring the bike on the plane with me so if I want it I'll have to ship it up anyways.

But would it be worth it to bring my bike up?? It'll be cold early I think, and I'm working long hours. If I get the urge to ride is there some place I could just rent a bike.

Any info on biking (mountain biking and commuting in particular) would be great.

    Biking in Edmonton is great!

There are great paved paths (if you are into that) downtown, and very close off-road trail networks all over the city.

Let me know if you need more detail. I lived in Edmonton for over 8 years!
