    Great riding weather!

[QUOTE=yellow;253279]Mr. yellow and I had a nice ride up City Creek Canyon in SLC this afternoon. The picture doesn't do the actual scenery justice!

So jealous, Sue, it looks just fantastic down there.
I've had a lazy, lazy summer with moving three times, but getting back on the bike soon. At least in my garage and at spin class if the snow starts to fly. Our colors are much the same, but since I saw City Creek Canyon in summer, I now want to ride it again in fall. So nice!

Somehow my camera seems to be focusing on leaves as opposed to trees...

Just a "FEW" more lucky pics? Wow! I will have to spend some time there for sure............. Thanks for pointing that out. You sure have a knack for filling the frame. Very aesthetically pleasing stuff if I do say so myself. I got a scholarship or two in art for college, so I think my opinion must qualify in someone's eyes

    Well done!

Sandra, Flyebye - thank you so much! I'm almost ready to post the link to my online picture selling site....I'll keep you posted. (I might even be a professional photographer one day )

Denise - your pictures are great!!! How do you like smugmug? Have you sold much? I decided to go with Printroom. As I mentioned I don't have my address "out there" yet, but so far I'm happy with print quality, and with the general concept.

    Hugs and butterflies, everyone!

I really like smugmug. The features are great, the developers continue to work on new stuff, and the community is wonderful. I highly recommend it. And if you decide to switch, you can get $5 off of your first year's subscription by placing my referral code ( llX8NBuQ4l6uQ ) in the 'Referred by' field on the signup form.

The community website is http://www.dgrin.com, and it goes well beyond smugmug. There is a small section that is devoted to smugmug and smugmug customization, but the bulk of it is about photography.

As far as selling goes, I have had my galleries there for a long time, and I switched to a pro account over a year ago, but I didn't open up my galleries to sell prints until very recently. No sales yet, but maybe someday...

Let us know what your printroom address is when you're ready.

Here's a picture of our heavenly blue morning glories in their last few days before the inevitable first frost will kill them dead. Alas! Our maple in the back has lost most of its orange leaves already. A little purple plum tree we planted 4 years ago is on the left.

How beautiful, Lisa! I tried growing Heavenly Blues one year only to find out that deer just loved 'em. Oh well...the downside of living in the woods. Nice to see what they are supposed to look like!

Beautiful blue morning glories Lisa! I thought they only came in white! Shows you how much of a gardener I am! Aaaaa I sure do miss the eastern states for fall colors. I grew up in Pittsburgh. Someday (like when both of my kids are out of college . . . in 1 1/2 years) Joe and I are going to do a tour back east. Like Bike Vermont! Now wouldn't this be great?! I can't wait!

After being away on holidays for a week we are now back and being busy little mites getting ready for our move. Today was so nice however that I couldn't resist a ride. Here are a few snaps of fall foliage in Nevada County.

    Late Fall in New Mexico

Great idea! Just did my first solo tour over Halloween and took some pics. We don't have the color like back East but we've got yellow against red cliffs.

    Journal and more pics here...

I had to resurrect this thread! Here are some from my ride(s) today (I got 2 canyons in as I wanted to catch the color before it gets blown off in the storm that's supposed to arrive tomorrow).

City Creek Canyon--right in my 'hood!

    Millcreek Canyon--right in Alex's 'hood!

    Millcreek again, higher up.
(kind of messed up the stitching on this one)

    Alex enjoying the PERFECT weather.
