Hey M,
Did you get tickets for the game??? I wonder if england will make it to the next round???
I found out that we indeed taped it & need to find a moment to watch it!!!
C
Did anyone watch the Wallabies-Canada game last night?
I'm proud of the Canuck guys for doing well against Australia It was great to see they held the Aussies from scoring a tri for quite a while in the first half.
C
Haven't seen the Canada/Aus game yet - on DVD though.
Wow about Fiji... what a great game! They looked so pleased - a well deserved victory
Very cool. It would be very hard not to want to see the Pacific Island teams do well at the World Cup - so much talent, so little opportunity to play at this level aside from sevens.
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.
2am Perth time is crunch time for the All Blacks..
Fingers & legs crossed..

Many many hearts have been broken by the AB's loss...URGH!!!!!!!!!

Oops.

I'd like to see Fiji beat South Africa tonight!!!! Also it would be interesting to see Argentina beat Scotland.
*sigh*...
Do you think Graham Henry needed a post match talk with the boys? I feel bad for them in a way as the world media isn't being kind to the Kiwis
C
Well, why would they be being nice? The whole tournament was ours to lose and we, well, lost it. Poor boys looked like they were going to cry though.

DD-Dan Carter's eyes said it all..
For many of the boys it was thier last career test match. Not only for NZ but also the Wallablies. George Gregan's one example..
Ok, this is scraping the bottom of the barrell but I found this on stuff.co.nz
It ain't all bad!

Ten reasons why the All Blacks' 20-18 loss to France in the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals ain't that bad....
Richie McCaw's freshly cut hair put in a great performance.
They only won by two points.
Only one person lost $A5 million ($NZ5.89 million) by betting on us winning.
France could still lose the final.
We could have lost to Georgia.
Blue will never look as cool as black on a uniform.
What doesn't kill us can only make us stronger.
If it wasn't for the ref, it would have been different.
You can still drink your beer stockpile on New Year's Eve.
The French have never won an Oscar for best picture.
C
Okay... So NOW who do I cheer for???
Springboks? Nah...
England? NOOOOO!
France? Even though they beat the all blacks,... No
Argentina??? Yeah! I'll stick with them! GO ARGENTINA!

hmmmmmmmm......... I never thought it was ours to lose, rather that it was the hype being built by media........seemed very similar to the America's cup, everyone thought that was ours too.............. I think it's sad that they are out, but by their own admission they made mistakes and paid the price........
I'm sorry that it ended this way for Byron etc that was their last AB game and not the way to go out interntationally................ and I hope that they don't sack Graham Henry, he's done a awesome job leading into the WC but maybe he's learnt valuable lessons that he can learn from and conitnue on leading the AB's into the next World cup, consistance could be to our advantage instead of starting with a new coach again.............
Hopefully the AB's arent' on the same flight home as the ozzie's !!!
I'll have to laugh if England win again !!!!
This is of course , just my humble opinion from a less than couch specator
