Today was the first day I commuted to work by bike! I rode through ridiculous LA traffic, but then managed to scootch down some quieter neighborhood streets. Dealt with one road block, polite drivers, and a hotter-than-normal morning - and it was delightful!

Now - to get home...

Woohoo! That is awesome. It's so satisfying, knowing you've ridden in, doing something that is good for you, and seeing the day in a way that is unique to being on the bike.

Even better when you have to wear your bike shoes (comfy Shimano sandals) all day because you could have sworn you left your dress shoes at work....
