SOuthernbelle-I have a Selle Italia saddle

Jobob-Errr..nah..I've just followed most of the posts about you California ladies doing dem long rides and now truly believe 200km isn't far.

The main problem i'd have with doing anything longer would be with lights. I can't use the midget type front lights as i just can't see with them. I would need Ian's night flux light plus my cateye double shots to be able to feel comfortable riding out in the countryside. Very few country roads in WA have street lights (that's about 25 watts of light)

I'll stick to 200km for now & perhaps next year 300km will be on the cards.

CC - 200 klicks, I'm impressed, and after I did the conversion to miles, I'm even more impressed

You'll appreciate my latest faux pas - somehow I managed to switch my bike computer from miles to metric. Now I have to find the instructions to figure out how to put it back.

Glad you had a great ride!

Congrats on your long endurance ride. I too hate chip-seal roads. Last riding season was about over before the new chip-seal was ridable w/ a road bike.

Congrats, CC! Sounds like a great ride. And I see you have a new supplier for Cliff Bloks, but never forget who got you hooked in the first place

Woohoo, I'm glad you liked the Fig Newtons!

Looks like a great ride, actually. I don't know about chip seal (I also like chips AND seals!) but the pictures look so peaceful and beautiful. I love rolling hills and openness and that is how it looks.

I'm trying to figure how it equates to miles but I'm thinking 160 miles?

    Thanks

I suppose I could have figured it out. I don't know where 160 came from either. I think it's time to go home!
