I was out in Gettysburg PA last weekend for my niece's commencement from Gettysburg College. I struck up a conversation with my nephew (25 yo)about a bike he was building from scratch that I discovered in his garage. (He's currently building the wheels)
He shared with me the following URL of a cool little shop that his friend opened a couple of years ago and has taken off - It reflects a great cycling philosophy as well as has some cool photos of bikes.
Incidentally, my nephew subscribes to the less is more philosophy and when we were chatting about setting up a riding date I teased him about his being able to keep up with me.. his response? "I'll lose ya on the hills no problem, on my 3 speed no less!"
LOL!! Which - he probably will!!
Anyway - if you're bored looking to kill a few minutes - check it out:
PS: Mimi: the bike he's building has a lovely, gently used brooks waiting to go on it, I thought of you as soon as I saw it!
