handed in the draft last Wed... got food poisoning that night... good timing, huh?!?

Now I am working on the defense talk. I have my defense next THursday, (get my revisions from my committee then, provided they have read it!), Graduation on Sunday (Family comes into town Wed night), Sponsor's meeting the next week, then the summer to finish up revisions and get the last 2 chapters submitted for publication (one is ready to go already).

So, I feel like the hardest part it done, getting it all on paper. Doing my practice talk on Thursday, so I will have most stuff done before the weekend.

Whew, I am ready to be done!

    hotels?

Where are people staying the night before? Amie and I need to get a hotel room as there is no way we are driving up from Palo Alto the day of and then riding 100 miles Trying to figure out what town is best for finding a reasonably priced hotel.
    Thanks!

I would suggest looking in Petaluma.

If I'm able to ride, I'm staying in Petaluma - it's about a 20-30 minute drive to the start.

If any of you lucky enough to ride in this one could pick me up a t-shirt (size small), I'd be forever indebted. Of course, I'll pay for the shirt and shipping.
