There is a slim chance, if all goes well, and if I can provide appropriate treats and encouragement to the elves at the LBS, that I might have my bike ready to ride sometime this weekend!
Perhaps a stop at BevMo is in order?

I'm disturbed by how the cables are routed through the cow's brain.

But then I'm also the one who thought SK was asking where the ride started....

I know, it doesn't look very aerodynamic, does it?

They don't seem to be much of a beer drinking crew over there, but brownies might do the trick.

Well, I think it is aerodynamic - internally routed cables and all - but I am concerned about the potential for brain damage. I know, I know, it's just a cow, so how can you tell? But still, I think the PETA people would certainly have something to say about it.

Now THAT'S how you do a thread hijack.

I think I can tie it all together:

Brownies go with milk, where does milk come from? COWS! Hey, HOLSTEINS are cows! Holstein 100 -- Ta Da! Back on topic! Phew!

But the cables through the brain kind of gets me too - it makes the inside of my head itch to think about...

Well I'd signed up for the full century, but I met some of the organizers for the Napa Century this weekend, and my DH and I may sign the tandem up for that. I may end up doing one of the shorter routes for this one.

Roommate Amie and I just regestered for the full century

Will probably end up staying at a hotel up there the night before, so would be up for any pre-ride dinners etc.

    Now to start training......
