    Grog,
I think this is a great idea! But YOU should start the thread....start a thread here in Apparel called WoolWeenies Club. Then we can all keep talking about our favorite wool stuff endlessly, and others won't think we're just obsessed with Ibex Ultimate Guide sweaters!
Would you do the honors?....I love the name you picked!- "WoolWeenies Club"!!

Lisa and Grog - you guys are a hoot! I used to think my wicking bicycle socks were the best things ever until I tried smartwool socks. How come biking has brought out the shopping monster in me?

can I make a request that we aren't totally obsessed with the ultimate quide sweater- i still can't find one in my size- small or extra small for anyone wanting to surprise me with an early Christmas present.

because we are women and we are strong and we do not need such hyperbole or self-aggrandizement to make us feel good.
we need WOOL to make us feel good!

Well, for one... WoolWeenies sounds a lot nicer than WoolWh*res. Even if the latter is more accurate!

PS: A Weenie can refer to a person who really likes to geek out on a subject. Gram-weenies = people who obsessively weigh every component down to the gram.
