I met this couple last night. The man and his wife told me all about his long distance biking. He is 93 years old. He still rides, but doesn't "tour" anymore! When he was 70 he rode from Michigan to Florida by himself...because he couldn't find anyone his age that could keep up! He said his wife made him stay in hotels instead of camping. When he was 80, he took his last trip up to Mackinaw with his 12 year old Grandson. That's a 300 mile cruise from where we live! He camped the whole way. Wow! I have a lot of longevity in my family. My hope is to have stories to tell like that when I'm 90 !

I used to dream about ice cream, Antonio Banderas, and daquiris on the beach. Now, i dream about fresh pavement...
Wow.........wow.....thanks for sharing such a great story!

My cardiologist, who's in his 80's, still bikes. He said he took up biking because he use to run and did so for 30 years and shot his knees to heck so now he bikes. None of the men in his family ever lived past 40 so he changed his lifestyle and started exercising. He's my inspiration.
That's how I want to be. A Grannie on the Grannys.
Crediamo in te, bici!
