    I impressed the bike repair guy on RAGBRAI by having an adaptor.

    We'd given away our spare 20" tube to a family who needed it and needed to replace the tube. DH asked for Schrader but all they had was Presta. I spoke up and said "We can handle Presta." Which was true (the adaptor, and all). For some reason that really impressed the repair guy.

    I'm a bit amazed at all this. I thought that everyone who ran Presta valves had an adaptor or two rattling around in the patch kit. Seems only sensible to me.
    Give big space to the festive dog that make sport in the roadway. Avoid entanglement with your wheel spoke.
