Well, on the eve of my commuting debut...it is raining and will be in the am. I did follow through and walked home from school on Monday. I will give it another go next week.

Bummer on the rain. Once you get into the habit of commuting, it may not be as much of a deterrent. I ride in rain unless it's torrential or a thunderstorm. Or if I don't have a ton of time to change once I get to work or school. Rain adds an additional layer to peel off, etc.

I too, don't mind riding in the rain. For me it is just a matter of being prepared; right clothes, cell phone and Palm Pilot in a baggie, etc.

Better luck next week for your commuting debut!
