slinke - what does the box labeled "Default Thread Subscription" say?

For some reason, I'm not receiving emails from the site letting me know that a subscribed thread has been posted to. I've checked my spam folder and nothing is there. I've gone to my user CP and re-entered my email address, but that hasn't helped, either. Can you help me?

M'kay. So, if you go to your subscribed threads folder what do you see?
614 threads, not all on one page, of course.

Geez slinke - you broke it! 614 threads?
Do they all have "instant notification" by them?
Yes. Should I clear some out?

Might be worth a try. Otherwise, I've got no clue how to fix it. Maybe Jeff or Susan do.
Will do. Thanks, Snap!

Snap's suggestions and Slinke's responses here cracked me up. Only Slinke knows why!!

That's just the default mode, so anything I post to gets instant notification status. I've cleared out a few hundred, but I'm still not getting emails. I guess it's time to alert Jeff and see if he can help.

Have you tried just turning it off for a bit and then re-setting? Of course, that would cause a little delay in your gratification . . .

I just pm'd Jeff. We'll see what he says. But, yes, I will try that, too.
Do you realize you're about to roll your post-odometer to 5,000 posts? Dang, Woman!!
