Yup! Bikes are so much more important than toothbrushes.... s'pose I should go get a toothbrush one of these days. (to clean the bike with, right?)

I love those nummy leather grips. Are they Brooks or something else?

The grips are Dimension grips. They aren't real leather (I don't think so, anyway... I don't have the bike here in Seattle to check) Very very very comfortable, I like them a lot! Much more comfy than grips I've had on my Kona bikes.

I just can't get over how great the Nitto All-Rounder bars are, too. With the Dimension grips on the All-Rounders, it's just blissful.

    What were they thinking ....

...when they designed this bike with so little clearance for the wheels? Problem solved with Panaracer Pasela Tourgaurd 23 cm tires.

Here Mae admires the clearance and waits patiently for someone to come here and try it out or maybe she's looking at the dog food nearby "lite? what are you trying to say about me? I just need more walkies!"

I have those grips...and when I bought them I searched carefully on the package for material...they actually ARE leather...

Have you used cork? do you like these better?

I haven't used cork, but I love these grips! Very comfy, somewhat plush feeling without losing any of the finesse you need to control the bike well. Don't need my gel gloves with these grips. In fact, the gel kind of gets in the way.

These grips on the Nitto All-Rounder bar are a marvelous combination.

Yeah, but that's cork TAPE, not cork GRIPS.

I get to ride my bike in a few days... whoo-hooo!

Wonder if that bike'd be a good candidate for a 650 conversion?

    bump

.... and she's getting painted. This photo does not do the color justice. It's lustrous, really glows. Chris Robinson (Hi Chris!) says that's because there's a layer of silver color underneath the red.

We picked the color to match the headbadge. I forgot to ask if they managed to save the headbadge?
