    Well in certain states that is! Bummer but someone wise started a petition to ask for Nationwide coverage:

    That's good. Better World has always offered this in all markets, does NOT lobby against infrastructures for people who walk, ride bikes and use public teanspirtation. Good discussion here;

    How can you not pick BWC over AAA if for no other reason than this description on their website: “We are a company of individuals, well caffeinated from the finest, sustainably-farmed coffee grounds, roasted locally and delivered by bicycle courier.” ….well that AND a more friendly corporate approach to bicycle/pedestrian/mass transit issues.

    I do a lot of riding in isolated areas and prefer to have both a cell phone to contact a friend to pick me up and also a satellite system to use if i don't have cell coverage. I prefer/use Spot for messages to someone that also give my location, if needed for emergency help/tracking and even though I don’t use it they now also have roadside assistance.

    I for one would like to see AAA make this option nationwide. I get a lot of perks with my AAA membership and would like to have manage just (1) mobile asst card over two.

    I just renewed my BWC cycling assistance coverage! I've never used it, but its cheap and I figure it can't hurt to have it available. I love my spot too, but I don't carry it as often as I should.

    I just wonder if my AAA coverage really would work in some of the areas I ride.

    Aw heck, AAA barely works on cars!

    We've had to call wreckers twice when mice ate our wiring beyond where the cars were driveable. Once was back in pre-GPS days when we kept AAA for their map services but had just got Allstate Motor Club to try it out, and Allstate had much better coverage. The second time was more recently when we had only Allstate, and the wrecker driver expounded on how much better their coverage was than AAA's, and they didn't even question it when we asked him to take the car to the dealer with the MUCH better reputation, even though it's five miles farther away than the nearest one.
