Thumbs up Rainbow Ride

The Rainbow Ride was a ride by Carrie and Elisia Ross-Stone, the lesbian grandmas who rode their bicycles from San Francisco to New York City to raise awareness about marriage equality.

A documentary was made of the ride, entitled A Time To Ride. You can view the 3 minute trailer by going to http://www.atimetoride.com/ and clicking on View the Trailer.

neet, thanks for the link. Who knows, this might be one of the films at the SFGLBT film festival this year....there's also some bicycling film festivals around, one in Berserkely I believe.

and they came to NYC at the end of their ride-- our local gay cycling group (and its larger gay running group) had a rally for them.

Hope it opened a few more minds and made some others do some thinking. It;s better than nothing.
