Another first tri report.

Well I did my first tri last weekend too. Did one back many years ago but can hardly remember that now. It was just a shorty 300m/10k/3k but was a great experience. I learnt a lot particularly in transition - I was way slower than everyone else mainly because I was using awkward to put on clothing. I also need to practice getting into my shoes when they are clipped on the bike.

Overall it was a great morning, on a great beginners course which was flat with lots of room for everyone. I came second in my age group and 5th women overall (I think there were only 20 though).

Need to get cracking now if I'm going to finish a HIM in Sept

Congratulations Beetle!

Well... a HIM in September? You better get to training!

My HIM is in October, and I'm already worried I won't come off the 56 mike bike fresh... if I don't start kicking my miles into high gear... soon.

Best of luck and keep us updated!
