Here's a laugh for the day..put your coffee's down and stop eating...

My team name for the 12hr is: Wake me up before i go slow..

Ian's doing it solo & his team name: There's a loose nut on my bike.

It should be a great event night riding with kangaroos rustling around scaring the pahooeys out of me

    have a good afternoon

No tag. I don't think that was UPS.
I don't think that was UPS, either. You handled it so well. Glad you're OK. (((Trek)))

AllezGirl, welcome to TD! And goooood luck reading it all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIMI!!! Looking forward to details.

I got such **** the other day, speaking of dialects.

Me: "I'm driving so much with the stick, I can hardly do a straight line with both hands."

    DG: "Fans?"

    Me "(apparently) 'ans!"

    DG: FANS?!

    Me: HHHHhhhhhhans!"

    DG "You mean "HHHanduh"

    Me: YARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG

Trek: That is scary. UPS has brown snowsuits too. They're never out of uniform.

Fredwina: my Mom is from west TX and my Dad is from STL. Even though I've been in PA for 11 years, my accent is still the butt of many jokes...by people who say "Aranch" (orange) The best though...my ex and his family is from Brooklyn, but his sister moved to Atlanta. Her daughter has a brooklyn accent with a southern drawl It rocks!

Thanks Lise...I must admit that reading you're dating posts has given me hope. I'm in my own personal match.com saga (hell_o). Someday my prince will come...OK I settle for teeth and a sense of humor

Well, there are some people on here who need to be addressed so I'm ignoring the target on my forehead and coming out to play for a bit.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIMI!!!!
Love the jersey. Can I borrow it when I come out to visit, huh, can I?

Well, AG welcome to TD!! ('bout time woman! ) I can't wait to go riding with you two again. Very nice BSG there. A little hill climbing, huh? I love hills! Go ahead and just try to kill me on some hills, I dare ya! Hey, OTG, I think when we go out riding with her next time, we better get cue sheets so when we drop her like a bad habit, we don't get lost in strange territory. (Of course, we both know that she'll be sitting there by the side of the road having a picnic and a nap while waiting for us to catch up. )

Bmo3 - My postie chick brought your wonderful Christmas card today. Made my day and believe me it took a lot to make my day today. Thank you so much! You are a treasure.

Dar - Hope the pooch is better. It's so hard to see them suffer and not be able to make it better right there.

Lise - It's so nice to see you in love. Thanks for sharing that with us.

CrazyC - hehe. I love the names. I'm coming down there one day just to hang out with you. You're a scream.

CWR - Thanks! For... you know, everything. Please feel better soon. Love ya sis. ~mick~

Kit - How's the knee? You make me insane and sane all at once. How is that possible? Oh, and the 'or what' is X comes over there and grabs you and *mumble, mumble's* you. Got it? Punk. (Ya know I love ya, don't ya? )

Well, I believe I'm done. Back to my cage. Have blissful biking dreams TD

Waah, sounds like the one I threw away day before yesterday. Tomorrow I'm making beef stew in the crockpot. We're all hoping the power doesn't go out this time...

*whiny tone* I don't wanna be *mumble, mumble*'d! My knee's ok. It's been iced all afternoon with tiger balm tonight. It was pretty stiff at work, but biking home loosened it up again. I think I'll drive tomorrow. I was too skittish tonight to feel safe on any corners again.

...but for that matter, if no one hears from me in a long enough time to be worrisome, ask my big sisters, and they'll call my house (eventually ) to see what's up.

Misery) and if that's not enough...I do know the way to Flowing Springs...or how bout Eichle Rd.? It's on the Univest Pro tour...yes, some of the pro racers have had to walk up it...but they're wimps. bahwahahh...

(the proceding is all fluff talk...cuz I can't climb for s**t, I do it because I have to...I really like to ride in New Jersey)

TOO cute, Knotted. I LOOOVE soup, best food at this time of year.

Mimi! One day late to stretch out the BD wishes!!! Hope you had the best one. Did you and DH go out to eat? What'd ya get?

Lise - Joy for you and J, that's what I'm wishing. And that's what its sounding like you have going for you. Beautiful!

AGirl, Teeth are a good thing. I'd keep that standard if I were you.

Trek, :::::: shivers!:::::: You are one smart and alert woman. I'm glad I'm not at home alone tonight, tho', just thinking of it.

BM3, did you run today? I will get out tomorrow morning, I hope. I try to alternate running and cycling. Cross training, you know. S'pposed to be a good thing.

Where's Nanci?? I wanted to compare wine notes with her. I am enjoying a Garnacha from Spain this evening. A good choice to reward myself for riding the indoor trainer and then doing upper body lifting. Only two Small glasses, tho'. It's an early morning if I'm to get up and run before work.

Have I been here long enought to b**** a little?

I just got an email from my spinning instructor. He has a friend who's a new rider. He was looking for direction for bike shops...something that is plentiful in this area, but I am strongly in favor of my LBS, since they're AWESSOME.

So we're going back in forth...on the high end racing bikes, my guys carry Orbea and Kuota and Specialized and Giant...he's in love with Cannondale system 6, which they don't carry

Then he informs me.... well...$ is not an object...her BF (not DH..but BF) just upgraded his Ferrari,,,so $ isn't really a consideration.

    F*** why can't I be her....

You've been here long enough to bi*ch, if you want, sure! Feel free! But what I think is that you don't really want to be her. You are just FINE as you! What, you want a sugar daddy, or someone you can really care about? Yeah, the sugar daddy may be fun for a bit, but where do you go from there? (I know, I'm not out there so what do I know?) It might be different if he had a Moots or a Seven or even a Madone!! But a Ferrari? Pish, that's only a car and needs fossil fuel to get it moving. All you need is your own self. Look at Lise! She waited and she found someone. You will, too.
