    I miss that bunny!

I had noticed that they changed the name (I was wondering why) and the store occasionally gets it in bar form. I loved it in chip form because the chips were bigger than normal. We make a lot of choc chip cookies in my house - my kids love the. The double choc chips would stay melty for days! Oh yum.

    Geez - politically correct chocolate.

Sarris Candy, located in Pittsburgh, makes the best chocolate. I'm a Pittsburgh native, so admittedly, I'm biased. Their chocolate-covered pretzels are the best and my favorite Christmas treat is their coconut clusters. For Easter, they have some wonderful "meltaway" eggs. Danger Will Robinson--they have a website and you can buy online!!! haha.

It is different, or at least it was when I was in the States for a few months (1996). One of the women on the summer camp I was working at brought in several bars of Dairy Milk and it definitely tasted different although I'm not sure why. It may be that the fat content was lower as Cadburys stuff has a fairly high fat content (in fact I think it technically isn't "chocolate" really). Also KitKats tasted very different and Milky Ways and Mars bars. It wasn't until I got to Montreal that we managed to get stuff that we were used to.

I love the Cadbury Caramel eggs. But I gave up chocolate for Lent so I haven't done a "quality control check" of any that have appeared in the stores so far. (This better be buying me some Heaven points! )

Now, Lindt white chocolate is the food of the gods.

We used to challenge each other as kids to eat as many of them as you could as fast as you could, I think I managed three once, felt sick for hours!

As far as good chocolate goes my favourite is Green and Blacks Maya Gold (or anything by Green and Black), dark chocolate with orange and spice through it - organic and fairtrade as well. Our works canteen has just started selling small bars of it which I struggle to resist!
You know, I'm dissapointed in UK Creme Eggs. They're just not as good as the Kiwi ones. I haven't conducted exhaustive research on the matter, but something's just not right with the filling. As for G&B, where's the drooling smilie? Their choc icecream spoils you for anything else. I'm rather partial to the vanilla caramel nut one too. Well, to all of them really.

I have been on a total creme egg kick lately. At least an egg a day. And eating 3 in one go has never been a problem. My limit may be around 5. But then again, I am a coplete chocolate addict. After moving to England, I have also been introduced to Galaxy Caramel bars, Thornton's truffles and Galaxy Ripples. Mmmmm!!!!! And because it is Easter and I have a wonderful BF I have a big easter egg full of Thornton's truffles waiting for me in the kitchen!

It is definitely different! Nowhere near as good! Hershey's seems to replace cocoa in any chocolate recipie with brown wax!

My girlfriend in Ireland sent me a bunch of Kit Kats that had orange flavoring in the chocolate. Orange Chunky Kit Kats. Dang! You folks in Europe get all the best chocolate!

Although, we do have a Belgian chocolate store right by my church that sells Leonidas chocolate. It's flowin in every week and you have to eat it pretty quickly because it's make with fresh cream and all that... it's a real hardship to have to eat a whole box before it spoils. Their pralines are the BEST!!

The orange Kit Kats must be available here in the US... my DD brought some home from school the other day. Were the ones you tried orange colored as well as orange flavored? These were.

I worked with some British pop stars who would have cases of Cadbury Dairy Flake bars shipped in weekly. I would kill for one of those.

No, they're not the white or orange ones. They looked like great, big, fat Kit Kats and the chocolate was brown, as usual.

Okay, I would kill for Dairy Flake bars, too. My Irish friend sends me those, on occasion, as well.

Which pop stars? I can get flakes at world market in town. Do you have a Cost plus world market?
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
