    trek - That's the one!

I bought it on iTunes, so the guys would get a few cents at least.

That is the best video I've seen in a long time! Man, the difficulty involved in co-ordinating 8 t-mills! And ya gotta love the plastic tarp backdrop!

Edit: And SKnot says he can separate the soundtrack from the video so I can put the song onto a CD and blast it in the car.

I'm so giddy- my trunk should be getting here tomorrow or Wednesday! I can't wait to actually have useable packing space on my bike... Am I nuts for being this excited?

KN--I just noticed bruising under the kineseo tape on the back of my arm, above my elbow. I knew he was working it hard, but bleeding? Yikes. Do you see this?

Kit--great news about your trunk. Remember how we like pictures!

    Going to bed. Really.

Nuts? Of course not. I got a trunk pack recently and it's great. No more commuting to work with a sweaty fanny pack. Only problem is that I have to take off my spare tire bag from behind the saddle and put it in the trunk because they don't both fit. Very stable too. Better than panniers in that regard.

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm strongly hinting to the GF that if I get a mtn bike friendly rear rack with pannier supports (don't have the braze-ons for rack attachment, I've looked.) =P I'll go to the local Whole Foods on my regular bike runs and get the good groceries.

In the mean time, I so need this just so I don't go nuts trying to carry anything but water in my hydrapak- unless I can get away with just a water bottle. Muahahahaha

DebW - glad to hear so many good comments for the trunk. I'll probably get one for Flossie.

Lise - yes, I've bruised my share of patients. I admit it. I even bruised one of my clinical instructors. Don't worry unless it turns into a huge or unusual bruise. Getting down to the lower layers of tissue or into the joint capsule sometimes impacts the upper layers of tissue. Don't take off the kineseo, it will help clear out the bruising. There are kineseo patterns specifically for bruising. They are nothing short of miraculous. (Kineseo tape is wild stuff!) Did your chiro mention "pushed radius syndrome"? I wouldn't know without seeing you, but it sounds like something (among others) he's treating. I hate to sound cliche'd, but "trust the process."

The most traumatized I think I've ever been in my life while conscious was inflicted on my by a PT. I was in serious danger of passing out for 30 minutes after I left her office. Collapsing in a sobbing heap was barely avoided too (actually, it was only partially avoided). She was working on my frozen shoulder (post collarbone fracture) and did too much at once. I suppose I should have screamed and yelled for her to stop, but I'm the stoic sort. Couldn't keep a few tears from rolling down my face while she worked on me though. Afterwards the pain was so deep in the joint that I simply felt traumatized. Suppose I shouldn't compain too much as I do have a working shoulder again, thanks to PT. Knotted, do you ever traumatize your patients? Lise, hope the chiro does good things for you.

yes, I have traumatized my patients. I've made a few cry. But they love me anyway. Cuz I'm so dang sweet...

Deb, frozen shoulder seriously sucks. It is one of the hardest things to treat. The PT joke is that frozen shoulder goes away after 6 months of treatment, or after 12 months of leaving it alone.

I give some of my patients gold stars (honest to gawd!) for putting up with tough stuff. The funny thing is that most of them want me to stick the stars on either the back of their hands or on the tips (toes) of their shoes.

What do you mean it goes away after 12 month of leaving it alone? You're not serious are you? I went through all that for nothing?

My PT only traumatized me once. I think she figured out she overdid it when I stood up and almost passed out. But I was such a diligent patient at my home exercises that I finished in only 4 months. I was doing 3 hours per day of exercises. *Need to bike again * must exercise * good motivation.

Unfortunately, yes, I'm serious. In most cases, adhesive capsulitis will go away on it's own after a year or so. But you've still got the muscular compensations to deal with after that. Better to say howdy to the PT's.

Biking is a darn good motivtation.

Some days I think that's all that keeps me going...

Are these wacky noises that my shoulder makes ever going to go away? People can hear it across the room.
