re-sprained my toe Tuesday in the dojo (I'm such a clutz) did spin class on it Wednesday, ran (lumbered more like) with Mae-dog Thursday now it hurts and I'm compensating on the other side.

Will tape it and see how if feels in the morn. I'd wanted to either ride with the Velogirls or Different Spokes (I know how you'd vote Lorri).

Ooh, TE has the new season of stripy Smart Wool socks in. Might need those orange Hot Lava though I do wish they were shorter. Wonder if any other colors of the short ones will magically appear.

Well, we gave it a shot and wishing and hoping it would work out just wasn't enough. We're heading home to Illinois next month.

As much as we like it here in Tucson, the cost of living is way too high in relation to the wages so when my old boss from IL called and said "we'd love it if you'd consider coming home to take over your old team", we decided to head home. I thought I'd be sad or angry since all I ever thought I wanted was OUT of Illinois; the reality is my SO had another offer in another state and we're choosing to go home. Guess I'm really a Midwestern kinda gal.

I have to buy them... I don't like the super shorties either.. I already have some smartwool striped sox that i bought last season. i bought two pair identical.
you can see them on most photos of me on my bike because i love them so much..
I already have some in my "shopping cart"
but i lost my free postage coupon for TE... argh..

mimi, my sock drawers floweth over. The joints have become unjointed. Notice I said drawer in the the plural. Oh, this is embarassing.

well, we have something in common. I only have 1 sock drawer, but it is deep and large and i have OTHER places for some of my socks too.

I am seriously into socks. I even DARN some of them! (note to the under 30 crowd, darning socks means I am repairing them with a needle and thread)
