Think of it as a flashback to the 70's prom. Break out your ruffles.

Oh I find it very icky too, but the 7.3 is quite attractive in my opinion :]

I can see where powder blue would turn you off...blech! I love the red and silver on my new bike, it just screams out RIDE ME!!!

One thing I did learn for the next time I go bike shopping (which won't be for a while) is too bring my own seat with me to use. Some of these bike seats on the bikes I tried felt like rocks. My butt was not happy!

Famous last words. When there's a bike in your bathtub, I'll believe you.

    powder blue trek

We bought the blue 7.2fx Trek for our daughter last month and she loves it. She's 11 and a bit more of a girly girl when it comes to colors. I like your red bike, very nice.

LOL, mine is the girly blue, and I love the color scheme. Which is weird 'cause I don't consider myself overly girly.

PS LoriO, congrats on your new bike!

    A Confession

My road bike is that powder blue.
Somehow it looks better on a road bike.

Congrats - very nice bike and choice. I thought about the FCR3 - couldn't decide on a flat or drop bar bike. By the time I decided to buy something, the only left over 2007 bikes was the OCR3W - a deal I couldn't pass up. Enjoy

The main thing is that you're happy with your choice - I reckon you'll use it a lot more than your old bike which you didn't like.

She really is a beauty and one of these days I may even get a chance to ride her . The day after I brought her home, my horse had a terrible reaction to a vaccine and I have spent the past few days taking care of her and trying to get her better.

At least I know my shiny new bike is there waiting for me!
