Thanks for the well wishes.

Irulan, I popped into North Division. Very nice store and people. Bought me some gear as too at Wheel Sport. We're talking half the prices back here in Oz. And cleared through customs back home, no tax, woohoo!

Here's a description I sent to a friend on how my accident occured. Odd thing was we just finished a tech section of rocks, roots and bridges and it occured along a smooth bit of trail....
I was just cruising along an
overgrown trail when my bar ends caught some shrub, that caused me to
waiver. My weight was too far forward so this event translated into riding
my front wheel. Now because I'm not too skilled at the later I went over
the handle bar (though my memory argues the bike went with me in my forward
flip) and absolutely nothing took the impact except for my right shoulder.
I felt nothing, heard nothing and proudly stood straight back up and nearly
fainted. So sitting down I felt my shoulder had quite a concavity, but I
still convinced myself nothing was seriously wrong. It wasn't allowed to
be. Slowly the adrenaline wore off and the pain told me otherwise. I ended
up in Ferntree Gully Hospital being attended to by a Malay doctor with a
Kiwi accent(!) and I fractured through the mid to dorsal third of my
clavical. I had a horendous week proceeding with the pain, but sweet drugs
and little conscience hours. I couldn't have one drink for my birthday
I'm alot better this week but sick of only having the left hand to use
and I cannot drive for another 4 1/2 weeks. The all important thing....I
will be right for ski season!
