Weird ONline Shopping (stupid boring vent :-))

It's a very, very quiet day here and hey, it is my lunch hour.

Shopping for GITAP and cruised to Eastern Mountain Sports, where I got my tent . With good advice and counsel from you fine ladies, made my 20 degree choice and got a bike chain cleaner thingy too and a present for a friend.
Super smooth transaction; even let me ship different things to different addresses painlessly and with "no price on invoice if you leave a 'gift comment.'" SWEET!!! I can't wait for PACKAGES!!!

Then over to knogusa 'cause I'm getting a light addiction and I wanted bar end lights for turn signals. (No, they dont' have that at TE.) I should have listened to the Grammar Grouch! The English on the site is, well, STRAINED and borderline Engrish. Type my whole shipping stuff in twice (no "same as billing" option)... then I click and get a "well, this connection is going slow - but click ok if you still want to send it" message! (On our campus superfast connection)... I click ok and wait, and wait, and wait...
... five minutes later I'm so bored I check my email. Order confirmation has been received, with my credit card and address stuff just sitting on the screen (on the browser, not email). Oh, and when I click that away (but I'm going to clear my history too) and go back to the site, all that stuff is still in my shopping cart.

So... those "frog lights" are cute, but I wouldn't bother. SOmething tells me I probably won't get this stuff exactly right away, either, even though the biz has an Ohio address and those folks have to pay taxes. What a contrast!

www.greggscycles.com has knog frogs, even though they don't show up on the website. They have all the colors, $9.99 each. I saw them, I fondled them in the store, I know they have them.

I'm hoping I can get my LBS to order them for me, as I don't like Gregg's so much anymore. Plus Gregg's seems to be about 10-20% more than average on most bike accessories.

If TE sold knogs, I'd be all over that....
