    Oh, brother!

I do have to admit that I have used duct tape on my feet on hiking trips. It is sometimes the only way to keep moleskin to stay when your feet get really sweaty.

    Hmmm....

Wonder whether this could be used for the blister that resulted from wearing new shoes to a first day on a job (I know better, really I do...). It popped before I realized it was there, so it's open. Darn thing is where every shoe I own except flip flops hits it, and it's currently keeping me off the bike b/c I can't get my shoes on. GRRR.....Anybody have any other suggestions?

I'd use those! I just had to do emergency surgery to my shoes because I'd worn through the padding in the heels (again) and they were making my heals bleed. I slap bandaids on my heels to keep this from happening, but sometimes they don't stay in place well. I bet those would be much stronger!

    Bandaid

Bandaid make a wonderful Blister Bandaid. They stick and stay and help you to heal, too. And they're sorta padded so they help with pain. I keep them in my golf bag, my ski bag, and my house!

So I tried the bandaid blister covers...

and they work reasonably well. The blister is on the inside of the foot - behind the big toe. Regular bandages wouldn't stick and *everything* hits there except flip flops (not gonna work for the office). These guys are stick all over - there is no pad. They didn't stick as well to the foot as I had hoped - they're making it about 24 hours, instead of the "days" they're advertised as. I also worry that they're pulling off healing tissue when they come off.

That said - it was instant relief from pain (both from the air and shoes) - they seem to protect and pad well. But...I dont' think healing is as quick as the normal antibiotic ointment and bandaid route...
