Front Closure large cup sports bra

I've a bit of a problem. I need a new sports bra or two...and remember that recent shoulder reconstruction and cervical spine surgery? There is no way I can use my old sports bras that either fasten in the back or go over my head. They work well, but right now with my shoulder I just can't deal with traditional sports bras.

My problem is that I really need a 34-DDD, or 34-E? Hard enough to find a "normal" sports bra the right size, but a front closure? I am still searching away, but thought someone here may have a thought for a particular brand. I AM reaching the point where I can exercise a bit more normally so things are getting a bit...bouncy

I DID find this one on Amazon - but $72!!! Really? I just can't swing that and am unsure that it would work anyway - haven't had much luck with Wacoal in the past with regular bras.

Good to know, but there is no way I can swing that cost - at least until I settle the remainder of my surgery/PT co-insurance in a few months. I was also looking at the Enel sports bra but it is in the same ballpark at $60-80. I know all good ones WILL, right now am trying to find something that is actually in my budget and provides a bit more than my normal bras and actually fits. It isn't as if I will be running or riding this year...sigh. Perhaps I should just wait.

Have you checked Ebay, Catrin? I have found some good deals on sports bras there (not front-closure, though). Good sports bras are so expensive, I only buy them on sale. I am lucky to be small breasted enough that I can wear the cheaper ones with more typical sizing, but they do go over the head, and I get it about your shoulder. That certainly complicates things.

Do you have enough mobility to put the bra on with the band under your boobs, turned around, so the clasp is in the front? Then, all you have to do is turn it around and slip your arms through the straps.

This is just awesome, thanks for all of the suggestions! I will consider them and decide what might be my best option. I hate buying bras online, but what other choice is there these days, especially with the larger cup sizes? I do have time, I don't think that I can get energetic enough just yet - or for long enough - for it to be immediately necessary. This means I've time to check things out and try different options.

Crankin - I CAN do that with some bras, sports bras have worked differently for me than "normal" bras. For some bras I can even fasten them behind me - but that is still very much a crap-shoot depending on the bra and what my shoulder feels like that day. Really this feels like the last bit of my shoulder mobility (for things I'm allowed to do), to come back online and it seems like it's lagging to me. Then again, they did a great deal to my poor shoulder.
