I'm retired, ride mostly during the week so I can save weekends for family. Looking for a few cycling partners, other retired women (I'm over 70) who would be interested in 50 to 80 mile rides in mid to south Puget Sound area, but sometimes venturing into the mountains.

we're in Seattle now but both working so your schedule would not work. Here's a ride series that might suit you. I know one of the organizers and she's a hoot!

Thanks for the idea. Seattle is far away from me, and my rides are generally 50 miles at the very least, usually up to 80 miles a day, which means I ride faster than "under 10 mph". Thanks for the thought. I should have been a bit more explicit, I guess.
Anyone interested in riding across Washington state late next summer? No details yet...just later in the summer as we're expecting a new grandchild in the spring.
In my area we have a meetup group called the Raleigh Weekday Outdoor Activity Group for people just like you. They do hiking, kayaking, and cycling. You might check to see if there is a similar meetup group in your area. If not, you could start one!
