Earlier, I questioned WHO GETS TO PICK THE SONGS? Do you get to, or does the instructor? I just know that the instructor would pick something soooo not in my key.

    well let me see:

Queens: I want to ride my bicycle
    ACDC(?): I can't "ride" 55
    Grateful Dead: Truckin
and there's always Daisy for the tandem riders

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

I usually sing when riding my bike. I never wear headphones, so I make do with what's in my head. Often it's Amazing Grace, or Amarillo by Morning (George Strait). Why those two songs? They make me happy! (and I know most of the words...)

The other reason I sing on the bike seems to be a form of magical protection. Since I ride in the city, I'll make up songs about how cars shouldn't hit me, or how traffic should get moving. For some reason, these songs are usually in Spanish, and sung to the tune of "Frere Jacques".

A Karaoke spin class might, at least, plant some new songs in my head!

LOL, even I might do karoake if there was bicycling involved! That sounds like a blast! Okay, so my singing is best described as lots of enthusiasm, but very little talent, but that still sounds fun! I can even contribute scout camps songs to the mix

Lise! Amarillo by Morning is the song my son sings when he is racing LOL how funny! He calls it the perfect race tune!

I told him he was gonna look funny comin back from Houston with no seat!
