It was about 85 by the time I was running. I started doing the the all white to avoid sunburn last year and to not overheat. Those arm cooler things really do work. The jersey is made from the same fabric. A pain in the neck to get on when you're wet, but worth it to not be sun burnt!

You did really well. I'm glad you were in a happier place this year. I cannot imagine running after getting off the bike for three hours. You must be so strong!

85, yikes. I am really really hoping the Austin weather holds together at the end of October and isn't still super hot. Last year it was in the 60s, but normally it's in the upper 70s, so days in the 80s would not be unheard of. 60s sounds perfectly fine to me.

I love my arm coolers, I might need to invest in the jersey.

I never really felt hot, but at every run rest stop someone had a hose to spray. And I went through it every time. Rest stops were every mile.

The volunteers at this race are great. I do wish the race officials awarded more penalties. I saw a team of 4 drafting each other on the bike, numerous people wearing headphones on the run, outside assistance on the run for a team, outside pacers on the run...
