This is good to know. I may have to check their men's version of the Venice, at some point.

I got my first pair of Keens a few weeks ago, and they are Whispers. I haven't done anything in them but some short distance walking around, so can't speak to hiking in them, but have loved them for the time I have worn them.

You definitely want to try these on before buying. I normally wear 8.5 to 9 medium width and have a narrow heel. I ended up with 8.5 in these, and could have gone with an 8 for length, but the tip of my little toe stuck out and rubbed against a strap on those. You do need to be aware of where your little toe ends up as it seems that could cause problems.

The string thing that you use to tighten the heel strap works well, and I have had no problem with slippage on my narrow heels which has been a problem with other sandals. I rarely have much luck with heel straps, and these have felt great.

This is good news for me, that the newer Keens run narrower. I wish they'd make a true B and then a wider width to accommodate more of us. I have never been able to wear any Keens other than the Commuter sandal, as the other ones I've tried have been too wide. This gives me hope that there may be some Keens in my future!

This is bad news for me...I struggle to find ANY shoes to fit (even my men's D-width cycling shoes are none too wide). I can't wear pretty shoes. Keens WERE my go-tos. If they start building all their women's models narrower I will be SOL.

Dang, if I were in the US right now, I'd go try some on. Not brave enough to risk buying without trying.
