Trying to get a mortgage in the "post crash" world is beyond absurd.
Agree 100%, we can't even get them to call/email us back about a refi, we have off the chart credit scores and all of our bills combined don't equal 30% of our income. Don't they want the business??

I know, right? Our loan was tiny. Crazy.

You'd think loans like ours would be welcome easy slam dunks, with people working in an industry where getting a qualified applicant is like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Right. I don't understand it either. But I have heard all over that's how it is.

    YAY!

    Dear self:
Please sort yourself out. This week, you've ridden twice and nothing else has been accomplished. Actually, nothing (school-wise) has been accomplished for the last two weeks. The exam's on the 26th and all the material is weird. And if you get this job, you'll have less time. Stop doing nothing on the internet all evening and get sh*t done.
    Love, me.

    Dear self-

You know you're just taking the short story writing class for fun. And you have 100% in the class and the teacher keeps giving you great feedback.

Why are you feeling so funny and insecure about taking a risk on a fantasy genre story for the assignment you just turned in?

Reaching your minimum is such a great feeling. You'll make that $8000. I know it.

    Dear BIL,
Really another vehicle, don't you ever feel embarrassed. I realize you are a "doctor" but good grief, share some of your wealth with the less fortunate. I don't enjoy visiting my sister anymore as the over indulging lifestyle you two have adopted just makes me sad. OH and yes, we do have a website, I know, it is shocking to think your "poor" relatives know how to write and may have something to offer to the rest of the world.
    Dear Little bro,
Thank you for having such a wonderful family, helps to offset the pain of visiting the family note above
