Hey California grrrlz...I'm posting this to the California threads because I figured the items below would be easier to transport within the state...please read on....

I'm active this year in an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team (our team name is "Cruisin' for a Cure"), and between a couple of local businesses, we've come up with an AWESOME fundraiser. Here's the scoop:

A well-known boat manufacturer with its headquarters in Merced, Malibu Boats, has designed and built a boat that they are donating to the cause. This is one gorgeous boat!! Lookie! Malibu Boats Relay for Life page. As the website states, the asking donation for an entry ticket is $20, which is peanuts for a $52,000 boat! I have five boat tickets to sell, but I CAN get more if need be. Tickets will be on sale until the date of our walk in Merced, April 29th.

Also being donated and raffled off is a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup, donated by Courtesy Oldsmobile of Merced: Courtesy Olds. The asking donation for the truck is $10. I have five tickets for that, as well, but again, I can get more.
