And in southern Maryland. The Oxon Hill bike club has group rides in that area all the time.

Yes! (Although as with most things religious, it might depend on the sect.) There's an Amishman who's been riding his bike to work in my small town for years, way before cycle commuting gained any cachet.

I was on an organized ride through Amish Country, the little kids lined up on the fence rails like little birds and waved at us, it was really sweet. Originally Posted by tangentgirl
