I had a really bad feeling about that ride this year (something about the description of riding around debris piles and the fact that that area is still in rough shape from the hurricane), so DH and I didn't go at the last minute.
Probably a good idea since I'm still having problems from my injury from last year. I crashed at the finish line on the first day. I had stopped (behind a stopped car at a red light) and was clipped out. Someone crashed into me and grabbed me in an effort to stop herself from going down (I know this because she announced it). She separated my A/C joint when she pulled me down by my arm, and I'm still having pain in the shoulder. Interestingly, after they released me from the Med Tent the MS folks never followed up (other than to tell me my fundraising this year was deficient
