    B: egg white sandwich with low fat Havarti cheese and sprouted bread

    40 mile bike ride (Honey Stinger gels and Hammer Heed during)
    Post ride snack: low fat chocolate milk and multi-grain chips

    L: big salad with chicken, red peppers, tomatoes, oil/vinegar dressing

    S: banana

    D: more roasted chicken, sprouted bread, tomatoes, onion, fresh figs for dessert, 1 Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

    Today

    B: scrambled egg whites, no-fat cottage cheese, bran cereal and skim milk. Coffee

    L: one hot dog with bun, trek mix

    short hike - banana during

    D: roasted chicken, steamed broccoli, skim milk and one small wedge of dark chocolate.

    Planning on having an oatmeal stout pretty soon, and will likely have a snack of an apple and no-fat cottage cheese later tonight

    Today:
    whole wheat bagel with low fat garlic-herb cheese, lox, an orange, coffee, 2 glasses water

    43 mile very humid ride, ate one luna Bar during the first 20 miles, then a soy nut butter and jelly sand. on raisin bread. A bottle of Nuun and one bottle of water

    ate a slice of pizza (goat cheese and artichokes) at the LBS later on

    carrots and celery, hummus
    chicken sausage, 2 slices tomato, cole slaw
    2 slices melon, grapes, one Blue Moon

    Today:

    breakfast: 2 egg omelet with 2 slices american cheese
    Lunch: Atkins day-break bar
    Snack: Apple
    Dinner (what I will eat tonight): Morning-star farms chicka patty with cheese and a slice of tomato, 1 corn on the cob, 1/2 c homemade sweet pickles (made with Splenda, so no sugar)

    Yesterday was a nightmare - barely anything to eat all day until a massive salad at 3 pm. My stomach was so mad at me for shoving in all that volume!

    Anyway, today is more normal.

    B: 1/2 paleo 'biscuit', 1 egg, 1 slice canadian bacon, 1/2 oz raw cheddar cheese, 1 cup canteloupe cubes, coffee with goats milk

    L: cold chicken and roasted sweet potatoes, raw carrots, apple.

    D: pumpkin beef casserole, salad.

    Snacks: handful of mixed nuts, banana, 1/2 lara bar before my run, 1/2 after, roast beef and raw cheddar roll ups.

    I've been eating too much.

    Yesterday:
    half a whole wheat bagel with olive oil, 3 slices of low salt ham, 2 slices machengo cheese, coffee

    half a Luna Bar before 20 mile ride

    I think i had a chicken salad for lunch, with cheese, tomatoes

    went to the LBS to get my new shoes fixed, so while we were waiting went to the Colonial Inn, sat on the veranda and drank a mojito and had black bean hummus with veggies

    fresh pasta (smaller portion than usual) and homemade puttensesca sauce, one small piece of bread from Idylwilde Farms... glad I now live further away from this place than previously

    Today:
    one cup of non fat Greek yogurt, blueberries, dried cranberries, almonds, 2 slices turkey bacon, coffee'

    My car's new power steering pump failed as I was going to a cafe after my first client. So I had a skim milk micha latte while waiting for the *** tow truck to take me to the dealer (an hour in total) so I could get my rental and get to the next client by 1:00.

    half a Luna Bar so I wouldn't starve. Got to my office at 2:00, but was afraid my chicken salad from above Idylwidle farms was going bad, despite being in a baggie with a cool pack. I ate a few bites and finished the Luna Bar and dumped the salad. I had a pack of nuts and cranberries at 4 PM

    half a whole wheat naan "pizza" with goat cheese, tomato pesto, and mushrooms, half a glass of red wine, 2 pieces of chocolate.
    Hey, this time we only made one naan for the 2 of us and it was fine.

    A Middle Eastern thin flatbread with Zaatar spices and folded in with a bit of fresh diced tomato, pepper ...and a pickle of all things. It was fine, except the pickle seemed like a mismatch to the Zaatar spiced flatbread

    1 phyllo pistachio rose pastry with honey, lightly flavoured with orange blossom


    snack later at home after bike ride on:
    an apricot, 2 plums

    pasta cooked in garlic-chili soy sauce with fresh tomatoes, banana hot peppers, onions, basil and fresh cilantro (made a lot for another supper later this week)
    Tea with milk
    another 2 plums

    Snack of 2 slices of Oka Quebec cheese. (European soft style cheese)

    I've been away the past 2.5 days and my diet included such things as a scallop roll, fries, and ice cream from Sundae School (those of you who go to Cape Cod will know this place). I did ride, but quite moderately for me.
    I have been eating a lot, as my weight has been down. At the end of last week it's stabilized at my "regular" weight, but that means I have to be more vigilant so it doesn't go up. The next week will be tough. Crazy busy with work on Mon-Tues., sort of normal on Wed. and then Thursday afternoon-Saturday I am going for a 2.5 day review class for my licensing exam. It's in SE MA, I am staying down there. Food is all on your own. I doubt I'll get any exercise on Friday, and not sure about Sat., since I don't get home until 6 PM. The class is at a state university, so I hope, at least for lunch, there will be some OK choices. DH is going to be away for almost all of the next 2 weeks, so I will have a chance to clean up my diet after this week.

    Green curry tomato ratatouille with eggplant, yellow zuchinni, red pepper, fresh cilantro, basil onion, garlic and ginger root combined with Chinese steamed fresh noodles

    S: slice of ww bread, soy nut butter
    D: I got home at 8 PM, went out since there's no food in the house and DH is leaving for an almost 2 wk trip to Asia. I had a very small serving of salad greens with fig dressing,half an order of risotto with steak tips, blue cheese, yellow squash (I ate about 3/4 of this), 1.5 glasses of red wine, one piece of garlic bread
