I don't see why not. Rivendell makes those custom steel frame bikes for folks and they take old frames and repaint them with their own stuff. That's the beauty of steel, I think!

Very Nice ! I LOVE a pink bike ! She does look fast ! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy

I just got a 2007 Trek Madone 5.5 full Carbon / Dura Ace / King Headset with a custom "blue lightning bolt" paint job. She came a with a few pink accents so I've added pink striped tires & bar tape to play up the pinkness. She came with a 12/25, but since I'm coming off a Triple I decided to switch it to a 12/27 for getting up the hills here in northern Connecticut- any way she should be back together, tuned up and ready to roll tomorrow.
    I'll post pix this weekend.

She's so pretty! <3 I love seeing what other people are doing with their bikes. Eventually, I want to find an older road bike or cruiser and redo it for leisure riding. Right now, my bike is rightfully a beast, being a commuter machine lol. Makes him a bit of a fatass for long leisure rides, though.

And you're definitely not the only one to name your bike. Mine's name is cookie monster lol. I get such weird looks when people walk by me adjusting something, or when he got his first flat. I was like "damnit cookies, momma's tired!"

I love how you matched the tape to the tube color!
Happily at the center of a poly V with my bikes

-"Bella" Concord Freedom10- My little project. Sweat and blood, pretty girl <3

Yes, it's a stock color from 2008. If you search for it on Google, you'll find it.

Very pretty bike. The pink and black really works.

I think the black and orange one's also particularly lovely.

I have Cannondale bike envy now.
