I wonder how many of these I've violated. Like the bags, and the shoes, and the pedals...

I assume this must be the reason why also. Though in some cases the glasses might help. I have my Rudy Project Girls with the temple pieces actually curved around my ears, and wear them under the strap I *think* lol... hafta go put my helmet on right now to verify. My glasses did fly off my head after I crashed head over the bars face first into the road. But, they cut very closely to the corner of my eye. Few mm closer, I would have completely lost the eye. Now, it has permanent vision damage from the impact alone. But, I can't help wonder if my eye would have been scraped off onto the road without the glasses? Never know for sure.

I like rule #9 also lol.

The male riding partner I was once out with on an organized event did not want to ride in the rain. As a favor to his SO, my usual riding partner, he did. We ended up doing 40mi. I would have done more, but he wanted to quit.

Maybe I'm insaine, but I'm one of those sickos that kinda likes the rain, and cold.

These are hilarious! I violate many of them and don't care. But sooooo funny!

P.S. What happened to rule 38?

I started wearing the visor on my road helmet last summer. I got tired of squinting for hours at a time during hot sunny summer rides, and I have enough brown splotches on my face. I don't care who is pointing and laughing at me.

Me too. My brother in law always teasing me - lovingly of course. But I don't give a rat's behind. :-) I'm wrinkly and spotted enough, thank you very much.

I suspect that Surly Bike Gospel, are in direct response to these!

Some are snarky, some are funny, but as been said, most of us will blissfully ignore them and go our own way without explaining or apologizing.

Without tucking my glasses under the strap, they would fall off, I'm hoping that that means they are loose enough that they will go flying if I fall.

    Good read though.
