I found Tiger Balm in the pharmacy section of the local Kroger, so you might be able to find it in larger supermarkets. Shea butter...I picked up a tub at Bath and Body Works because I had a coupon, but I've also seen it at Whole Foods and other such places.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Depending where you are in the NW, you can get pure (and WONDERFUL) Alaffia shea butter and shea butter products at PCC and at Central Markets.

Made in Olympia WA, company is deeply involved with the village that makes the shea butter, and they ship a container of bikes to the village every year.

Thanks ladies and it sounds like Alaffia is right in my own neighborhood and supporting a great cause.

    I appreciate the help.

I am curious, do you use your Shea butter pure or do you do sth to it before using it?

L'Occitane (http://usa.loccitane.com/FO/Home.aspx) carries pure shea butter. Theyre pricey, but I LOVE their shea butter hand creams and pure shea butter.

    Plain!

I keep most of my extra shea butter in the fridge. It helps keep it fresh longer.

I get both items from good old ebay. The pure shea butter and lots of other pure butters are way cheaper than retail prices.
