I have a different pair of LG shorts. There is a lot of light padding around the thicker stuff. I like the LG chamois because the thick part in the front is actually rather narrow, then there's just regular minimal protection for where the groin is. at least that's how my pair is. I don't remember the style of the shorts, but i've tried a couple of the shorts on. I also don't mind the thick padded sitbone area. I hope that made sense? My words and articulation are escaping me right now.

I ordered a pair of LG shorts similar to the ones you're looking at. The thighs were WAY too tight and the waist was loose. I knew that if i went up a size, i would not fit in the shorts. I sent them back. I feel like in general most of the LG styles do run small.

Life goes by pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, and do whatever you want all the time, you could miss it.

+1 on TE's customer service! If you don't have an LBS that carries them, you can try them on (with underwear) and send them back if they don't fit.

And that is the same chamois as in the Neo Power. I get along with it just fine (they're tied for my favorite shorts), and I do NOT get along with bulky chamois at all.

They fit me perfectly in Large. And I just bought a pair of Lucky Brand jeans in size 2. I appreciate LG's honest sizing.

We do not have a Performance around here, I ordered them via mail, but if you are a 28 and the large fits well, I think I should be fine. I am a 29. The waist could be a little snugger, but it is comfortable and the legs fit perfect. I think if I went down a size the thighs would be too tight. These might actually be the perfect short, but since my other shirts have a much tighter fit, I am just not used to it and that might have more to do with buying a higher vs. Lower end short. I may just take them for a ride tomorrow.

I ordered a medium from TE.com and they fit perfect. Can't wait to try them out, though I doubt they will make my saddle feel better on this new bike. I willm robably make a trip back to the shop for a different saddle. He said to give it a month, but I do not think I will make it that long, it is like sitting on a 2 x 4.
