Emily - good luck with your colonoscopy. Glad to see you are doing one; I had two brothersinlaws pass away within 8 months of each other from colon cancer so I'm always glad to see people being proactive.

B: 1 piece WG toast, scrambled egg and cheese sammy; coffee
L: a few carrots, 1/2 an apple, a couple of mexican type appetizers, a sammy type appetizer, 1/2 piece of pita bread with hummus
    4 hours of tennis

Wow, I'd starve! I have to have multiple snacks along with my three squares, and you didn't even have three squares (lunch). Don't know how some eat so little and still have the energy to ride.

I am lucky that even at 50, my metabolism still seems to be pretty high. Not like when I was 30, to be sure, but I can eat a fair amount without gaining, so long as I stay active.

Well, I didn't run nor ride nor even go for a walk that day, so I wasn't hungry. Normally I eat massive amounts of food, but if I'm not active my appetite just shuts off.

And I slept in really late, so breakfast was practically lunch...
