We must have the same vest I got mine from Nashbar several years ago on sale and absolutely love it. I wear it when I ride and run. It's probably the most used piece of cycling/running clothing that I own.

I don't think you can go wrong with either brand. I've never used anything made by Saucony but shoes but I do have a Brooks jacket (and wear my vest over the jacket) and DH has the hi-viz Brooks jacket and a few other items of Brooks clothing. Brooks is high quality clothing, holds up well and is very comfortable.
